So this is the last post for some time now. I have just moved into my new host family and they have told me that their Rotary tells them that I should not be speaking with anyone in my family or friends from back home for at least a month. I love you all, and will see you on the other end of september. Mother, I went to the Alien Registartion desk today and got my ID card which means that for the year that I am here I have health care, including pharmacy. Sayonara everyone -Ian

Had a meeting with the Takasaki Rotary club, it went very well. I made a speech about how thankful I was to be invited and when my family and home are like. And I guess I said that New York is a, "very moist place to live", not "a very beautiful place to live." I am moving out of Takasaki tomorrow, and I am going to miss this family, they are very kind and generous and very a lot of fun to be with. Oh, on a happier not I had my first Sushi yesterday! It was delicious, or Oishii. I am going to go pack for tomorrow so I will say sayonara. Oh, todays picture is host the family I am with and seeing as I am leaving tomorrow they posed for this photo, oh yeah the grandfather is working across the street so he isn't in it, but just imagine jackie chan in 40 years.

Hello everyone! I am going to make this blog short because I have to write a speech in Japanese because tomorrow I meetmy host Rotary club. I have received many emails from all of you, it is great to hear from you all. It sounds like things are going well in New York. Yesterday I went to a mountain just outside the city, there was a couple hundred foot tall statue of a women Budda at the top, or at least that is what I understood it to be. I stood in the plum of smoke which is suppoised to cleanse your soul, and I received a black bead that I am supposed to carry with me at all times for good health. On the way there a song by John Lennon was on set on repeat inside of the car I was in. If you don't know the song it basicailly just repeats the word "I don't want to be a soilder because I don't want to die, and I don't to be a lawyer because I don't want to lie" Over and over again till the song ends, at which it would start over for about 40 mins I heard that same song over and over. I tryed to tell the family in the car that it was just repeating using a Japanese Tourist book I have but they would all nod and laugh a little, and then just go back to siting and listening the same song as if they didn't know it was the same one. That is what Japanese people do when they dont understand you, they laugh and nod. Thank god there is a hospital right next to where I am staying because I might need intensive care. Anyway, I have got to finish this speech so I am going to say goodbye, Oh todays daily picture is one I shot of a bilboard which I thought was pretty funny. Check it out. Bye everyone!
