Had a meeting with the Takasaki Rotary club, it went very well. I made a speech about how thankful I was to be invited and when my family and home are like. And I guess I said that New York is a, "very moist place to live", not "a very beautiful place to live." I am moving out of Takasaki tomorrow, and I am going to miss this family, they are very kind and generous and very a lot of fun to be with. Oh, on a happier not I had my first Sushi yesterday! It was delicious, or Oishii. I am going to go pack for tomorrow so I will say sayonara. Oh, todays picture is host the family I am with and seeing as I am leaving tomorrow they posed for this photo, oh yeah the grandfather is working across the street so he isn't in it, but just imagine jackie chan in 40 years.

I don't understand why you have to move. I thought you were supposed to be with one family for the entire school year. Is it not working out?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you're first family was able to welcome you and make you comfortable for your first week. One week there, and you're already a member of a family! I'm sure the family you spend the rest of the year with will be just as great. I dreamt last night that we were all at the airport saying goodbye to you again. Yech! Glad that's over with. It's so much better to read all of your updates than to think about how much we miss you. After all, you're there to have a great time, learn a lot, and make friends. Can't wait to hear about your next family, home, and adventures.
ReplyDeleteWhat SER said! Good luck at school tomorrow, son. There are many interesting and worthwhile things to learn and observe there, I'm sure. It was great to hear your voice tonight. You're amazing! Love you, Mom
